of Southern California

Copyright 2007-2020 - Round Dance Teachers’ Association of Southern California

Celebrating 67 Years of service, The Round Dance Teachers' Association of Southern California was organized in 1952 with the goal of unifying the local instructors and promoting the teaching of a common dance within our large geographic area. We usually meet on the Second Sunday of odd months at Mel’s Dance Center in Westminster.

We are a ROUNDALAB affiliated organization.

Interested in joining our organization? From time to time we have an opening for a Dancer Member or two.  We can pretty much always welcome Apprentice, Cuer and Teacher members depending on their qualifications and approval by the general membership.  Contact our Membership Chairman, Jim Spence, for details.

During the coronavirus outbreak, we have been faithfully watching for guidance from our  government agencies as to how to proceed. Our focus is on the safety of our members and dancers.  With this in mind, we urge everyone to follow the recommendations of the CDC and local agencies.  We wish for everyone to come through this crisis unscathed.  Please be safe, wash your hands and dance at home like no one is watching (because they aren't).
